Choosing and Replacing a Ceramic Coating Applicator
Match the applicator to the formula and surface, prime it as instructed and replace it when contamination or poor spreading affects control.

Use the product’s intended tool
Applicators differ in material, absorbency and contact shape. Follow the coating’s specified type rather than selecting only by comfort or size. A broad panel and a narrow trim section may also need different access while keeping the approved application method.
Inspect a new applicator for debris and keep it protected until use. Avoid placing it on a dusty bench or vehicle surface.
Prime and spread consistently
Apply the amount described by the product instructions. Too little material can produce uneven spreading, while excessive loading can create heavy residue. Observe the test area to confirm a consistent process before treating the whole car.
Do not compensate for a contaminated or deteriorating applicator by pressing harder. Inspect if it drags, sheds or no longer distributes product evenly.
Replace and track used tools
Replace an applicator that falls onto a dirty surface or collects contamination. Follow the product’s guidance for end-of-job handling and disposal; cured material may make reuse unsuitable. Keep tools for different coatings clearly separated so product systems are not mixed unintentionally. Consistent applicator management supports even coverage and makes application issues easier to diagnose.
