Assess the starting condition
Identify the upholstery and check whether the branding includes printing, foil or a different finish. Photograph existing wear before cleaning. The surrounding leather’s compatibility does not automatically cover every decorative detail.
A practical working method
- Trial approved cleaning around the branding.
- Keep product quantity and tool contact controlled.
- Treat only verified compatible finishes under the product instructions.
- Inspect the dry detail from several angles.
Common mistake
Flooding a recessed emblem can leave excess material that is difficult to remove. Aggressive brushing can change the appearance while apparently improving cleanliness.
