Show the proposed dry result under suitable light before extending the process. Keep retained scratches, chips or finish differences in the scope. A flattering photograph should not replace inspection of the actual panel.
Record the polish and any wax, sealant or other product subsequently applied. Assess the finish at the appropriate residue-removal stage so that the correction result is not inferred only from the final presentation treatment.
Use clear views and avoid editing that conceals condition when documenting the service result. Supply the owner with the accepted finish record and any limitations. The preparation should support an accurate presentation, not a promise based on camera conditions.
