From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Compare appearance enhancement and targeted defect correction by scope, test results and finish expectations rather than ambiguous package names.

Paint enhancement and paint correction are service terms with variable meanings. One studio may use enhancement for a light single-stage polish; another may include cleaning and protective products that improve appearance without the same abrasive objective. Ask what the service actually does.
Enhancement commonly prioritises an overall visual improvement within a limited process. Correction usually places more emphasis on reducing specified defects. Neither term guarantees complete removal or a fixed percentage.
Write the target in observable terms: which marks, which panels, what final clarity and which inspection conditions.
A representative section can demonstrate the outcome of a lighter package and whether a stronger process adds meaningful value.
Inspect after the appropriate residue-removal method. Distinguish mechanical defect reduction from appearance changes caused by protective ingredients.
Include cleaning, decontamination, pad and machine stages, detail cleanup and final protection. Two packages with the same number of polishing stages can involve very different work.
Also state exclusions such as deep scratches, unstable paint, matte finishes or specialist materials requiring separate treatment.
A customer may prefer substantial improvement with retained deeper defects over extensive correction. That is a legitimate service objective when explained clearly.
The technician should not treat a more expensive package as permission to remove every visible mark regardless of surface condition.
At handover, use the agreed inspection standard and document remaining defects. Clear scope protects the owner’s expectations and helps the studio estimate labour accurately.
The useful comparison is between demonstrated outcomes and complete workflows. Package names should help explain that difference, not obscure it behind an undefined promise of showroom perfection.
