A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Plan black-car finishing around consistent lighting, clean pads and careful residue removal so shine does not conceal haze or fresh towel marks.

Black paint makes small defects conspicuous against a dark reflective surface. That does not mean every black car has the same hardness or needs the same polish. Use colour to plan inspection, then use the actual paint response to choose the process.
Use directional light for fine defects and broader reflections for overall consistency. Move around the section rather than judging from the angle that makes it look best.
Keep the panel clean and dry for comparison. A reflection through fresh residue can look dramatic while hiding the condition an owner will see after washing.
Inspect a small section after prescribed residue removal. If lines appear in the direction of towel movement, check towel condition, contamination and the removal method before changing the machine combination.
Expose a clean towel face regularly. Do not force resistant residue off through repeated dry rubbing. Difficult removal is a process problem to solve, not a reason to accept new marring as inevitable.
Use a supported fine or finishing system appropriate to the preceding correction. Compare alternatives on equivalent areas. Record pad condition and the exact removal method so the successful result can be repeated.
A softer pad does not always produce a better result. Liquid, contact and paint response can change the outcome. The useful pairing is the one that leaves the cleaned finish acceptable on that vehicle.
A successful central test does not guarantee equal clarity around contours or local repairs. Review the whole panel from several positions and resolve inconsistencies before coating preparation.
At handover, use the same type of lighting that established the service standard. Identify deeper defects deliberately retained and explain how careful washing and drying limit new marks. The owner should understand both the improvement delivered and the maintenance needed to keep a dark finish looking its best.
