A distributor carton and a direct-to-consumer coating kit serve different buyers. They may contain the same approved formula, but packaging, instructions and support can require different decisions. Define the channels before finalising a private label product pack.
A distributor needs to receive, identify, store and resell stock. A retail customer needs to understand compatibility, prepare the work area and use the product correctly. An installer may already own accessories but need reliable technical documentation and traceability.
Write the minimum information each buyer needs at receipt. This prevents a visually attractive pack from omitting details that matter in daily use.
For wholesale, consider case identification, unit counts and how lot information remains available when cartons are split. For direct sales, consider parcel protection, leak consequences and whether the customer receives all promised components. Do not assume a presentation box is also a validated shipping package.
If the formula is identical across channels, keep the underlying product identification clear. Different branding or accessories should not accidentally imply different performance evidence.
Use the net selling price and variable costs for each channel. Wholesale may have lower revenue per bottle but different fulfilment and support costs. Direct sales may require acquisition spending and individual shipping. Compare complete orders rather than the factory bottle price alone.
State which party answers technical questions and handles damaged deliveries. Do not leave support ownership to be discovered during the first complaint.
Keep compatibility, application and care information consistent across the carton, insert, website and reseller listing. Channel-specific packaging should not create conflicting cure or durability claims. Ask NANOLAB to quote the required supply formats, then verify that each format supports the buyer’s workflow. The result should be a deliberate channel offer, not the same bottle placed in different boxes without a plan for how it will be sold and used.
