Plan ceramic coating preparation, application and curing using the exact NANOLAB product instructions, with clear checks before moving between stages.
Start with the product and the surface
Identify the coating, its intended substrates and any installer requirement. Check glossy, matte, film and trim areas separately. BEAST PRO and QUARTZ99 require a NANOLAB Certified Installer, while MATRIX variants have distinct finish compatibility and a different working-time approach.
Read the complete application and safety information before opening the bottle. Prepare the required workspace, ventilation, protective equipment, lighting, applicator and clean levelling towels.
Inspect, clean and correct as needed
Record paint damage and repair history. Wash and dry the vehicle, then identify remaining contamination. Use targeted decontamination where appropriate; clay is not automatically required on every car and can introduce marring. Select polishing through inspection and a test area rather than assuming every new or used vehicle needs aggressive correction.
Remove designated residues with a preparation product compatible with the substrate and coating. Do not substitute an arbitrary alcohol concentration for the specified preparation system. Check seams, mirrors and handles for trapped water.
Test application and levelling
Apply to a small representative section using the product’s stated amount and technique. Observe the approved levelling cues and working interval. A universal rule such as wipe after thirty seconds does not suit every coating. MATRIX’s extended window should not be transferred to a BEAST PRO or QUARTZ99 workflow.
Use clean towels, change loaded faces and inspect from different angles. If residue no longer responds to the approved method, stop and seek guidance rather than scrubbing or coating more panels.
Finish with inspection and aftercare
Check coverage, high spots, boundaries and unwanted product on adjacent surfaces. Record application time and product identity. Give separate instructions for vehicle release, first washing and full cure. Current MATRIX and BEAST-family information lists first washing at 14 days and full cure at 30 days, with differing earlier stages; follow the exact supplied instructions for the installation.
Continue with paint preparation, levelling ceramic coating and product-specific curing. These checks turn application into a controlled process with a clear handover.
