A Nano Coating Checklist for a Newly Finished Home

New surfaces are not necessarily ready for coating. Installation residue, recent repairs and unfinished work should be checked before a protective treatment becomes part of the handover.

Gather the surface documents

Keep specifications for glazing, appliances, stone and decorative panels. Record factory treatments and care restrictions. Ask the relevant trades which finishes, adhesives or sealants still have curing requirements. A recently installed surface should follow those instructions before additional treatment is considered.

Inspect after suitable cleaning

Identify construction dust, adhesive residue and existing damage using methods permitted by each manufacturer. Do not confuse the final builders’ clean with preparation for a particular coating. Mark unresolved defects and agree who will assess them before application.

Coordinate the final sequence

Schedule confirmed coating work after contaminating tasks and allow the required protected interval before occupancy. Provide a room-by-room treated-area list and aftercare instructions. Keep excluded surfaces clear so the homeowner does not assume that every fixture received the same protection. Photograph the accepted dry appearance at handover.
