A description of expected performance is not the same as a written warranty.

A description of expected performance is not the same as a written warranty. Before agreeing to a service, ask what is actually covered and under which conditions.
Confirm whether any warranty comes from the installer, product supplier or another provider. Keep the exact product and application scope in the paperwork. Avoid assuming that a general brand statement covers every material or installation method.
Check the covered issue, duration, required maintenance and procedure for making a claim. Ask how existing defects, accidental damage and later cleaning or repair work are handled. If a term is unclear, request a plain explanation before relying on it in the purchase decision.
Save the accepted quote, completion record and care instructions. Record meaningful changes such as new cleaners, repairs or local renewal. For a support request, provide photographs and the recent history rather than only stating that the coating no longer behaves as expected. No warranty term should be invented from the presence of a product page alone.
Read home quote comparisons and coating handover.
