Will Nano Coating Hide or Repair Existing Scratches?

A protective coating should not be treated as a general scratch repair. Existing damage needs to be assessed separately so the owner understands what preparation and coating can each achieve.

Inspect before treatment

Clean the surface with a suitable method and examine it dry under useful lighting. Record scratches, chips and changes in texture. Identify the material and any factory finish, because correction options differ between glass, metal, paint and other surfaces.

Define any restoration work

Ask a qualified specialist what improvement is practical and what risks or limitations apply. Do not use an abrasive product across an unknown finish merely because it removes a mark elsewhere. Agree the accepted appearance before the protective coating is applied.

Preserve realistic aftercare

The finished surface still needs appropriate handling and clean tools. Do not describe it as scratch-proof without evidence supporting that exact claim and use. If a new mark appears, clean and inspect it before assuming whether it affects residue, coating or the underlying material. Keep the original photographs for comparison.
