A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
A small stainless coating mock-up is most useful when reviewers see it under conditions relevant to the finished project. Document the viewing conditions alongside the accepted finish.

Match the actual surface finish and preparation history where possible. Record whether the mock-up is bare stainless, a decorative finish or another supplied surface. A sample of a different grain or finish cannot answer every appearance question.
View the mock-up in normal room lighting and relevant directional light. Note reflections, viewing distance and orientation. Strong side light can make residue or differences easier to see than a single front-facing photograph.
Record the visible finish and the agreed preparation and coating process. Include any limits that the mock-up does not establish, such as long-term wear or behaviour in a different cleaning environment. Keep approval attached to the actual sample.
Use the approved sample and comparable viewing conditions during project inspection. Investigate deviations in surface, preparation or process before assuming a coating formula change. Keep changes to the accepted method documented.
It can support the record, but lighting, reflections and camera processing affect appearance. Where finish acceptance matters, review the actual sample under agreed conditions.
