Private Label Coating Bottles: Evaluate Neck Finish Compatibility

A cap that screws onto a bottle is not necessarily a qualified closure system. Neck geometry, sealing surface and liner design must work together.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Match the bottle and closure specifications, then evaluate the complete system with the intended product and filling method. Retain component references in the packaging file.

Two apparently similar caps may engage the threads but compress their liners differently on the same bottle.

Decision limits

Avoid approving components only from photographs or nominal diameter. Any change to the neck, cap or liner should trigger a review of the affected packaging checks.
