Map the motorcycle before treatment
Paint, plastics, metal, glass or screens, seats and wheels may each require different products. Inspect matte areas, decals, repaired finishes and heat-exposed components. Confirm compatibility for the specific surface rather than extending a body-paint instruction to the entire motorcycle.
Coating cannot repair chips, corrosion or failing finishes. Address those conditions separately before choosing protection.
Protect grip and braking functions
Keep coating away from tyre tread, brake discs and pads, foot controls, grips and other areas where traction or friction is needed. Do not add slickness to a seat or contact point unless a product is explicitly suitable for that use.
Use careful application boundaries around small, closely packed components. Prevent overspray and excess product from reaching unintended areas.
Inspect and maintain accessibly
Clean and dry intricate joints before application, then level residue according to the product instructions. Allow the required cure before riding or washing. During later care, use separate tools for heavily contaminated wheels and inspect exposed areas regularly. A selective, documented treatment is more useful than a promise to coat every surface without considering its function.
