Mixed finishes need a surface map
A vehicle can combine glossy paint, matte film and textured plastic. MATRIX GRAPHENE P503G lists both matte and glossy compatibility along with selected exterior surfaces, making it relevant to such jobs. That broad description still requires checking the actual material and its condition.
Identify repaired paint, ageing film and any surface whose care requirements are uncertain before application.
Test for the intended appearance
On matte or satin material, preserving sheen matters more than adding gloss. Prepare with compatible products and test a discreet representative area. Look for darkening, uneven sheen and residue under different light.
Do not use conventional paint-correction habits on matte surfaces without specific suitability. A compatible coating does not make every preparation method compatible.
