MATRIX Curing and Aftercare: From Vehicle Release to Full Cure
Use MATRIX's separate release, wash and full-cure milestones to plan handover and avoid premature washing or unsupported timing shortcuts.

Read each stage separately
The current MATRIX schedule lists normal vehicle release after two hours, initial cure at 24 hours, first wash after 14 days and full cure at 30 days. These stages describe different levels of readiness and should not be merged into a single dry-time statement.
Use the current instructions supplied for the product and installation. Actual conditions and the complete treatment system must be considered.
Infrared requires its own instructions
The published information describes earlier release after a recommended infrared cycle. It does not mean any heater setting or arbitrary exposure is suitable. Obtain and follow the exact heating procedure, including compatibility with the vehicle’s materials, before using that method.
Do not infer that faster release eliminates later washing or curing requirements.
Make aftercare actionable
Give the owner dates for first washing and full cure, alongside the permitted early-care response. Use compatible gentle washing after the waiting period and remove problematic contamination with appropriate guidance. If rain or droppings occur earlier, contact the installer instead of improvising strong cleaning. Review the relevant MATRIX product information and keep the product and application time in the vehicle’s care record.
