A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Locate coating work with the surrounding dust-generating tasks in mind, then verify the layout under normal workshop activity.

A clean bench can sit directly in the path of dust from nearby preparation work. Coating-station planning should consider what happens around the vehicle during application and the required initial protection period.
Identify polishing, pad cleaning, unpacking, vehicle traffic and door openings. Observe the normal workflow rather than judging an empty workshop. Coordinate ventilation and extraction with the responsible safety and facilities requirements; do not disable essential ventilation to reduce visible dust.
Where the layout allows, place coating work away from active dust sources. Otherwise, schedule the activities so contamination-generating tasks do not occur beside exposed prepared surfaces. Keep clean tools covered or protected using compatible methods.
| Source | Practical control question |
|---|---|
| Pad cleaning | Can it occur away from the coating area? |
| Vehicle movement | Does the route pass the exposed surface? |
| Open doors | Does the airflow change during the task? |
Inspect suitable clean witness surfaces or other approved contamination indicators during representative shifts. Record the timing and location of visible contamination. An empty-room check does not establish performance during a busy day.
If contamination reaches a prepared or freshly coated area, follow the product-specific assessment and correction procedure. Do not wipe or add another layer automatically without understanding the coating’s state.
The station should support a stable process, not merely look tidy in a photograph. A small change in task sequencing can be more useful than repeated cleaning after nearby work has recontaminated the surface.
