Graphene Batch Identity: Keep the Additive and Coating Records Connected

A graphene coating trial is easier to interpret when the sample can be traced to the supplied product.

A graphene coating trial is easier to interpret when the sample can be traced to the supplied product. A marketing name alone may be shared across packaging sizes, markets or revisions, so it is a weak identifier for a technical result.

Create a simple record

Record the coating code, batch identifier, sample date and document revision supplied with it. If raw-additive information is available, keep its supplier and grade reference in the technical file rather than assuming it applies to every future batch. A photograph of the label can help resolve later confusion.

Use traceability before making claims

When a distributor asks whether a test applies to their order, match the tested formula and relevant specification to the supplied product. If something changed, ask whether the earlier result still applies. Do not use a favourable historical report simply because both bottles say graphene. The connection should be explainable without guessing.

Traceability does not create a performance advantage by itself. It makes any supported advantage easier to evaluate, repeat and communicate accurately across manufacturing, distribution and installation.
