When a foam cannon empties before the car is covered, the priority is controlling the product already on the vehicle. Do not leave it dwelling while you search for concentrate or make a hurried, stronger mixture.
Rinse the treated sections according to the product instructions, especially if sun or wind is accelerating drying. If the product has already dried, follow the supplier's recovery guidance; repeatedly spraying fresh concentrate onto a dry film is not a universal solution.
Move the refill task away from the paint. Check whether the bottle was underfilled, the pickup tube was loose, the mixture was consumed faster than expected, or the setting changed. Use the intended water and concentrate quantities. Do not assume the bottle dilution is identical to the solution reaching the panel, because the equipment can add further water.
Complete the remaining surfaces in an order that allows proper dwell and rinsing. Mark mentally or in a job note which sections have already received the cleaner. A second full-car application may waste product and expose finished sections unnecessarily.
For the next wash, record the starting bottle volume, equipment setting and approximate vehicle size. A tall van and a compact hatchback do not necessarily need the same amount. Keep enough prepared solution available for the intended job without storing mixed product longer than its instructions permit.
If a freshly filled cannon again consumes its mixture unusually quickly, inspect the equipment before changing chemistry. A loose connection or altered metering setting can make a good shampoo seem inconsistent. The corrective action is a repeatable delivery setup and a wash sequence that stays controllable when something interrupts it.
