Coating Storage Excursions: Preserve the Original Data Alongside the Summary

A summary peak can help flag a storage event, but the original time record may be needed to assess its duration and pattern. Preserve both when seeking a supplier disposition decision.

The key distinction

Record the sensor location, interval and relevant stock identities. A warehouse reading may not establish the exact temperature of every container, so keep that limitation explicit rather than presenting a reconstructed product temperature as measured fact.

Practical checks

  1. Retain the original monitoring file.
  2. Identify affected locations and time windows.
  3. Send a factual summary with the relevant product records.

Example

Illustrative example: a dashboard shows one high reading, but the time series reveals whether it was isolated or sustained. That context can change the technical question the supplier needs to assess.

Scope and limits

Do not declare stock acceptable or unusable solely from an unsupported threshold. The exact product requirements and qualified assessment govern the release decision.
