Record the product, batch, storage history and appearance, then obtain the manufacturer's instruction before use.
A clear upper layer and sediment below should not be corrected by adding an arbitrary solvent.
Decision limits
Do not assume vigorous mixing restores suitability or that every settled product must be discarded. Follow the responsible technical assessment.
