A raw-material trade name and a finished-coating trade name refer to different procurement objects. Clarify what is actually supplied before comparing pack sizes, prices or technical documents.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
Raw materials may require formulation expertise and controlled manufacturing steps. A finished product has its own application instructions and approved uses. A quotation should identify the supplied state and intended user so the buyer does not mistake an ingredient offer for an installation-ready coating system.
Illustrative example: a buyer finds a low price for a silica-related ingredient and compares it directly with a filled professional coating kit. The offers include different work and responsibilities. A meaningful comparison must account for formulation, validation, packaging and support rather than treating both as equivalent liquid volumes.
Do not apply a raw material to a customer surface based on a broad technical description. This guide does not recommend DIY coating manufacture. Use the supplier's stated product role and qualified development support where a formulation project is genuinely intended.
