A handheld shower can concentrate water on a small part of a pane. Map that exposure when comparing residue or cleaning effort.

Assess the starting condition

Look at normal shower use rather than testing only with a hose held evenly across the glass. Note where users rinse the pane and where water repeatedly lands. Separate physical access from coating condition.

A practical working method

  1. Clean and dry the pane to establish a baseline.
  2. Record the normal spray path and the most exposed sections.
  3. Use the approved water-removal routine after bathing.
  4. Compare the same sections over several ordinary cleaning visits.

Common mistake

Assuming every area receives equal exposure can make a local residue pattern look like uneven application. A single controlled water demonstration may not reproduce daily use.

What a useful result looks like

A useful maintenance plan targets the actual splash zones while preserving the same approved cleaning method. Investigate persistent differences with the application record and exposure map, not with a diagnosis based solely on which section beads more dramatically.
