A missed cleaning visit changes the starting condition for the next service. Return to inspection rather than assuming the usual quick routine will remove everything.

Assess the starting condition

Note the gap in maintenance and the shower’s actual use during it. Photograph heavier deposits after the pane dries. Separate removable residue from damage that might predate the missed visit.

A practical working method

  1. Use the approved routine on a small representative section.
  2. Check the dry result before extending treatment.
  3. Address remaining deposits only with a confirmed compatible method.
  4. Record extra work and revise the future schedule if the normal interval is unsuitable.

Common mistake

Compensating with an abrasive pad or an unapproved concentrated cleaner can create new damage. A coating is not a guarantee that missed maintenance has no consequence.

What a useful result looks like

Accept the surface by clean, dry inspection and explain any remaining limitations. Keep the change in maintenance history with the record; it helps distinguish exposure-related buildup from an application problem.
