Investigate streaks after ceramic shampoo by checking dose, drying, rinse access and towel residue before changing products or applying more protection.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Streaks after a ceramic shampoo wash should be investigated before another protective product is added. The cause may involve dosing, dried product, retained rinse water, a towel or an incompatible process. Start with a record of the wash rather than assuming the underlying coating has failed.
Photograph the dry vehicle and note whether marks follow towel passes, sit beneath trim or appear mainly on horizontal panels. A repeated drip line suggests a different investigation from broad smearing across every panel.
Record product name, dilution, surface conditions, rinse sequence and any drying aid. If several products were used, list all of them.
Was the shampoo approved for the surface and application method? Was it allowed to dry? Was the dose measured? Did the rinse reach seams and recesses? Correct any clearly identified process mismatch before judging the formula.
Do not immediately increase concentration or use a strong solvent. Those changes can complicate the evidence and may be unsuitable for the finish.
Use a known clean, suitable towel on a small area with a compatible cleaning method. Compare the result with the original towel. Laundering residue, previous product use or contamination can contribute to smearing, but the comparison should establish that rather than assume it.
If marks remain after an approved rewash and dry, ask the coating or shampoo supplier for a finish-safe next step. Distinguish mineral deposits from product residue before selecting a specialised remover.
Keep the process simple and change only the suspected cause. Inspect the dry result in normal light and at a shallow angle. Record what resolved the issue. This provides a repeatable care improvement and a useful support history. Adding another ceramic spray may temporarily change the appearance, but it can also hide the source of the streaks without correcting the wash routine that produced them.
