Practical approach
Compare upper and lower areas after appropriate cleaning. Identify likely contamination routes and use only approved treatment methods.
Road-facing areas can experience a different contamination load from the roof during the same journey.
Decision limits
Do not begin with aggressive mechanical treatment merely because the surface feels rough. Diagnose the deposit and protect the underlying finish.
