Two cars of the same model may need very different preparation. One may have clean, stable paint; another may have polishing residue, bonded contamination, scratches or previous repairs. The time needed to reach an agreed finish often matters more than the quantity of coating used.
Vehicle size, access to intricate areas and the selected surfaces also affect the job. Paint, wheels, glass and upholstery should be identified separately so you know what is included.
Compare proposals with the same scope. A lower price may reflect less preparation or fewer surfaces; a higher price alone does not establish better workmanship.
Include washing equipment, suitable cleaning products and any agreed maintenance visits. Clarify how unexpected paint issues or extra correction will be handled before work starts. Do not judge value by layer count or a warranty headline alone. A useful quote connects each charge to a defined task and explains what you will need to do after collecting the car.
