A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Trace recurring coating-care marks to seams, badges and runoff paths before repeatedly wiping or polishing the same area.

A panel can look clean immediately after wiping and develop a mark again minutes later. Before repeating the treatment, inspect whether water or residue is emerging from a seam, badge, mirror housing or nearby trim.
Record the initial mark, clean it only with a suitable approved method, then watch where it first reappears. Note the delay and whether the vehicle has moved or a door has been opened. A trail beginning at a gap suggests a source that repeated surface wiping will not remove.
| Pattern | Check |
|---|---|
| Trail below a badge | Retained wash liquid or cleaning residue |
| Mark after mirror movement | Water released from the housing |
| Recurring line at trim | Runoff from the adjoining material |
| Stable patch with no new runoff | Surface residue or another defect |
Use a suitable drying method that respects the vehicle, coating and nearby components. Do not force tools into gaps or use excessive air pressure around vulnerable seals and film edges. The objective is to remove retained liquid without creating a new problem.
Trim dressings, glass cleaners and other nearby products may travel onto a coated panel. Review what was applied around the area and whether the tools were shared. A clean paint towel can become contaminated by one pass across dressed trim.
In an illustrative case, repeated wiping removes a streak below a mirror, but the streak returns after the mirror folds. That directs the next check to the housing and retained liquid rather than immediately to coating reapplication.
Once the source is controlled, review the mapped area under consistent lighting. Persistent marks may still need a separate assessment. Do not assume that identifying runoff proves there is no underlying surface damage.
Record the source and corrected drying or product-use step in the service notes. A repeatable solution addresses where the mark comes from, not only where it becomes visible.
