Stainless steel door pulls receive concentrated handling and repeated cleaning. A nano coating may be considered for a compatible decorative surface, but the service expectation should reflect that contact pattern. Do not transfer a performance impression from an untouched display panel to a busy entrance handle.
Identify the handle finish and any factory-applied treatment. Ask which cleaning and hygiene products are required in the building, and confirm compatibility with the proposed coating. Cosmetic maintenance must fit those requirements rather than displace them.
Inspect existing scratches, worn areas and loose fittings before treatment. A coating does not repair mechanical wear or secure an unstable handle. Keep application away from locks, moving interfaces and other components outside the approved cosmetic area.
Where a trial is supported, use a representative handle or sample and document preparation, application and cure. Record the normal contact and cleaning schedule so later observations have a meaningful context.
Compare appearance after the same approved cleaning process, not immediately after different products have been applied. Track how easily ordinary marks are removed and whether residue or unevenness develops. Avoid claiming antimicrobial performance unless the exact product and use have appropriate substantiation.
Agree a review point based on actual use rather than promising a universal lifespan. If the coating becomes uneven or the handle is damaged, establish the approved restoration route before adding more product. A practical specification describes the surface, preparation, care and acceptance criteria clearly enough that the next cleaning team can maintain the result consistently.
