A shared garage creates a practical distinction between preventing dust from reaching the car and removing dust that is already there. The first is a storage problem; the second is a cleaning problem. Mixing them encourages habits such as wiping the car every time someone sweeps nearby.
Discuss cleaning schedules, nearby building work and storage activities with the garage operator. Keep personal detailing equipment covered and off dusty floors. Avoid using a blower to clear the surrounding area while the vehicle is exposed; that can move material onto surfaces you intended to protect.
A suitable cover may help in some arrangements, but it needs a clean vehicle, clean contact face and correct handling. It should not become a tool for collecting and dragging dust across paint.
Inspect the car before touching it. A light-looking layer can still contain abrasive particles, and garage dust is not necessarily identical to the dust encountered outdoors. Use the vehicle's approved wash or suitable low-water maintenance process rather than a dry duster by default.
If only a small area needs attention, include the runoff and tool-contact paths in the cleaning scope. Keep used cloths separate from clean ones during transport back to the apartment or workshop.
Track whether a change in parking position or garage activity reduces recurrence. That observation can improve the routine without requiring claims about the coating's dust repellency. Ceramic coating does not make a car dust-proof. A workable shared-garage plan combines source control, protected equipment and an appropriate cleaning response, with enough restraint to avoid unnecessary contact every time a thin layer becomes visible.
