A recurring drip from an air-conditioning outlet can leave a pattern on a parked car. Even if the original condensate is relatively clean, its route through equipment, pipes and nearby surfaces may introduce contamination. Do not diagnose the resulting marks from the source name alone.
Move the car away from the drip where possible and ask the responsible property operator to assess the drainage arrangement. Do not climb, reroute building drains or alter electrical equipment as part of a detailing task.
Photograph the affected panel and the parked position. Note whether the marks follow a single drip point or a wider splash area. Wash the vehicle with its approved maintenance process and inspect the dry result.
A removable residue, a mineral ring and persistent surface damage are different findings. If ordinary compatible cleaning does not resolve the marks, ask the installer to choose the next treatment. Household descalers or equipment-cleaning chemicals are not automatically suitable for coated automotive surfaces.
Avoid applying another coating or topper over the marks simply to restore beading. That may change the visible water behaviour while leaving the underlying problem and its source untouched.
After the drainage or parking arrangement changes, observe whether new marks develop. Keep the cleaning method consistent so the comparison remains useful. Where the same small area has been corrected repeatedly, tell the installer about that history before any further polishing.
The coating is only one part of the situation. A durable solution combines stopping the drip, removing what can safely be removed and inspecting any remaining defect. Repeatedly treating the symptom while the source continues is an inefficient maintenance plan.
