Fragrance and colour can make a car shampoo enjoyable and easy to recognise, but neither proves cleaning power, coating compatibility or safe dilution. Those decisions need the product's instructions and the observed wash result.
A distinctive colour may help staff distinguish bottles, but colour coding should support a readable label rather than replace it. Lighting, dilution and similar-looking products can defeat a system based only on appearance. Do not identify an unknown chemical by sniffing it.
Fragrance preference is a legitimate buying consideration when the product is otherwise suitable. It is not evidence of low hazard or a substitute for the handling requirements. Stronger scent does not mean stronger cleaning, and an unscented product is not automatically safer.
Evaluate the instructed dilution, soil removal, rinsing, dry appearance and suitability for every surface exposed to runoff. Record whether the product leaves unwanted residue or changes the maintenance process. A pleasant wash experience can coexist with an unsuitable final result.
For a brand developing several scents, keep the evaluation organised by the exact formulation and version. Do not assume that feedback on one sample automatically approves another. Ask testers to distinguish fragrance comments from application and cleaning comments.
A clear product description might say that a shampoo has a particular fragrance and is intended for a stated maintenance task. It should not turn that sensory feature into an unsupported performance claim. Choose the chemistry and instructions that fit the vehicle first; then choose a sensory experience that customers like and staff can identify reliably.
