Coating Split Deliveries: Track the Remaining Order by Product and Batch

A partially delivered order needs a remaining-quantity record for each relevant product line. A single overall completion percentage can hide a missing component or an unexpected substitution.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

The key distinction

Reconcile delivered quantities with the confirmed order and approved changes. Keep batch identity and release status where the process requires them. A physically received quantity may still need review before it counts as usable project stock.

Practical checks

  1. Record each shipment against the original order line.
  2. Update the remaining commitment and expected delivery information.
  3. Review kit or project readiness using the actual required components.

Example

Arithmetic example: an order for 100 coating kits receives all bottles but only 80 required applicators. Bottle delivery alone does not establish that 100 complete kits are ready.

Scope and limits

Do not substitute accessories or products without the appropriate approval. The confirmed contents specification governs completion of the supplied configuration.
