Nano Coating on PVD-Finished Metal: Treat the PVD Layer as the Surface
A decorative PVD finish is part of the substrate presented to the coating. Approval for bare stainless steel does not automatically cover it.

Practical approach
Identify the finished component and obtain compatibility guidance for preparation, application and maintenance. Evaluate a representative sample.
A gold-coloured decorative panel may require different care from an uncoated stainless panel nearby.
Decision limits
Do not infer compatibility from colour or from the underlying metal grade alone.
