A flat material sample does not represent every feature of a formed component. Bends change access and reflection during application and inspection.

Practical approach
Evaluate the finished geometry or a representative formed sample. Check corners and transitions for visible accumulation or inconsistent appearance.
A coating approved on sheet stock may need additional process evaluation on a tightly folded decorative panel.
Decision limits
Do not infer complete formed-part approval from a flat coupon alone.
