Practical approach
Use an approved trial area or representative sample and compare colour, sheen and uniformity before expanding the work.
A subtle sheen change may be easier to see across a defined boundary than in an isolated close-up photograph.
Decision limits
Do not assume that a product described as clear leaves every matte film's appearance unchanged.
