Coating PPF After Installation: Resolve Both Manufacturers’ Timing
Film-installation readiness and coating readiness must be considered together. A coating's instructions alone may not address a newly installed film.

Ask the film installer about installation state and the film's requirements, then reconcile those with the coating guidance.
Residual installation moisture or unfinished edge work can make immediate coating inappropriate even when the paint nearby is ready.
Decision limits
