Coated-Car Rinse Checks: Take the Sample at the Outlet

A treatment-system reading and water delivered at the hose outlet can answer different questions. Downstream equipment may affect the delivered water.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Define the sample location and follow the appropriate flushing and measurement method. Keep temperature and instrument settings documented where relevant.

A good reading at the treatment unit does not alone verify water that has passed through a contaminated storage tank or hose.

Decision limits

Do not diagnose the entire system from one unexplained reading. Use location-specific checks to narrow the issue.
