Ceramic Coating Residue on Adjacent Uncoated Materials

Accidental contact should be assessed for the material actually affected. A correction suitable for paint may be unsuitable for rubber, film or decorative trim.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Identify the product, surface and time since contact. Consult the relevant material and coating guidance before cleaning.

A small deposit on a textured trim component may require a different approach from the same deposit on clear coat.

Decision limits

Do not use a universal solvent or abrasive response. Preserve the finish while obtaining a compatible correction method.
