Coating Chemical Resistance: Separate Immediate Marks from Recovery

Some tests call for observations at specified times after exposure. Immediate appearance and later condition should be reported separately.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Follow the agreed removal, rinsing and recovery procedure. Record each inspection time and use consistent lighting and measurement conditions.

A temporary visible change immediately after exposure may differ from the observation after the method's specified recovery interval.

Decision limits

Do not omit an early adverse observation or invent a recovery period after seeing the result. Use the pre-agreed method.
