Paint residue on shower glass needs a removal plan for the actual paint and coating. Stop ordinary wiping if hard fragments or dried deposits are present.

Assess the starting condition

Record the paint type and the time of the spill. Inspect surrounding seals, hardware and decorative glass treatments. A removal process approved for bare glass may not suit the full enclosure assembly.

A practical working method

  1. Protect adjacent finishes and collect removable excess carefully.
  2. Obtain a compatible removal method for the paint and treated pane.
  3. Trial the method locally before extending it.
  4. Clean away removal residue and inspect the dry result.

Common mistake

A metal scraper or strong remover can change the surface while removing the paint. Do not assume that a nano coating makes restoration chemicals harmless.

What a useful result looks like

The useful endpoint separates paint removal from any subsequent coating assessment. Photograph remaining marks and obtain specialist glass advice where damage or uncertain restoration requirements remain.
