A broken dispenser can leave product residue and fragments. Complete safe cleanup before resuming normal coated-glass care.

Assess the starting condition

Identify the dispenser material and inspect the shower for fragments without dragging them across the pane. Keep the glass surface separate from the floor-cleanup task and follow the enclosure’s care guidance.

A practical working method

  1. Collect fragments using an appropriate method before wiping glass.
  2. Use separate clean tools for the pane.
  3. Remove soap residue with the confirmed compatible cleaning process.
  4. Inspect dry glass for new damage after cleanup.

Common mistake

A towel used to collect fragments should not return to glass cleaning. More pressure can drag hard particles through the treated surface.

What a useful result looks like

An accepted result has no unresolved fragments, removable residue or unexplained new marks. Refer chipped or damaged enclosure glass appropriately. Record the incident and cleanup method if coating behaviour later needs investigation.
