Wallpaper changes the protection and runoff plan around a shower-glass project. The coating method must account for the wall finish as well as the glass.

Assess the starting condition

Inspect the distance between the pane and wallpaper, the condition of the edges and the cleaning history. Splash-resistant styling does not establish resistance to coating solvents, adhesive tape or repeated cleaning runoff.

A practical working method

  1. Confirm the glass coating’s approved indoor process.
  2. Protect the wall with a method suitable for the wallpaper and accessible boundaries.
  3. Keep application and cleanup controlled at the glass surface.
  4. Inspect the wall and pane after removing temporary protection.

Common mistake

A masking tape that works on glass can lift or mark wallpaper. Spraying broadly because the pane is easy to reach can create an unnecessary adjacent-surface exposure.

What a useful result looks like

Accept both a clear treated pane and an unaffected wall finish. Record inaccessible boundaries and give the homeowner a maintenance method that controls runoff. If the wall cannot be protected reliably, revise the application scope before starting.
