From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
A panel can look ready while gaps retain cleaner or polishing residue. Include accessible joints in the preparation check before coating the adjacent paint.

Look at bonnet and boot edges, trim junctions and badge recesses after the prescribed cleaning process. Use suitable lighting to distinguish trapped liquid from dry residue. Do not force tools into sealed joints or dismantle components simply to chase an uncertain mark.
Choose methods appropriate to the component and product already used. Additional rinsing, careful drying or a suitable detailing tool may be relevant, but the vehicle and chemical instructions set the boundary. Avoid directing uncontrolled pressure into electronics, seals or film edges.
Inspect again after the accessible areas have dried. Mark unresolved sections and keep them out of the coating application until assessed. A final wipe on the flat panel cannot compensate for material that may later emerge from a gap onto fresh coating.
No. Use a component-appropriate preparation method and keep unapproved chemicals out of joints and sensitive assemblies.
