From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Check the film, existing coating and maintenance goal before adding another spray or topper to paint protection film.

Adding a topper to coated PPF changes the surface that will be cleaned and observed next. That can be useful when it is part of an approved care system, but repeated unrecorded layering makes later diagnosis difficult. Identify what is already on the film first.
Record the film, ceramic coating and recent maintenance products. Check the film manufacturer’s restrictions as well as the coating instructions. A spray marketed for paint may not be suitable for every film or matte finish.
Clean through an appropriate maintenance process and inspect the dry surface. Weak beading on dirty film does not establish that another protective layer is required. Existing residue may need attention before any addition is considered.
Decide whether the aim is an approved maintenance refresh, a particular finish or another supported purpose. Avoid adding several products just to chase a slick feel. Their combined appearance and cleaning behaviour can be harder to predict and assess.
NANOLAB RECOAT is a maintenance and protection product whose suitability must be checked against the actual system and current directions. The existence of a topper does not override the film’s care rules.
Record the product, application date and areas treated. After the specified waiting period, inspect appearance and residue as well as water behaviour. Do not attribute the immediate result solely to the underlying ceramic coating when a fresh topper is now present.
If the film is stained, damaged or lifting, address that issue separately. A maintenance layer is not a repair for the film or its adhesive, and should not be used to hide a concern before inspection.
