Visible Streaks After Shower Glass Coating

Streaks noticed after application should be reviewed with the installer using the exact product instructions. Their appearance alone does not establish whether they are application residue, preparation marks or an earlier glass defect.

Document before altering the area

Record when the marks were noticed and whether the shower has been used or cleaned. Photograph the glass dry from more than one angle, including the whole panel. Keep the product name and application date available.

Ask about the appropriate correction stage

Do not assume that a method used while a coating is being applied is suitable after it has cured. The installer should determine the next step for the actual system. Avoid adding another layer to conceal streaking or using abrasive products without a plan for the coating beneath.

Verify the accepted finish

After any approved correction, inspect under the bathroom’s usual lighting and confirm the revised return-to-use instructions. Record whether only one section or the whole panel was treated. Keep that information with the handover so later cleaning and renewal decisions reflect the surface’s actual history.
