Haze after cleaning can have several causes, including remaining product residue or a pre-existing surface issue. Start by reviewing the cleaning process rather than immediately applying a stronger product.
Record the cleaner, dilution, cloths and any recent protective spray. Note whether the haze appeared suddenly or gradually. Inspect both faces of the dry glass under normal lighting so a mark on the opposite side is not mistaken for residue on the cleaned face.
Use the approved routine on a small area with clean tools. Complete any required rinse and drying step. Compare the result with the surrounding glass without changing several products at once. If the small area improves, review how residue was being removed during the wider cleaning task.
Photograph the dry surface and provide the product history to the installer. Avoid polishing or layering more coating until the cause is clearer. Haze that remains after suitable cleaning may need specialist assessment, especially on old, factory-treated or decorative glass.
