A Simple Daily Routine for Coated Shower Glass

A brief after-use routine can make shower maintenance more consistent. It should be easy enough for the household to follow and compatible with the installed coating and glazing.

Remove obvious residue

Follow the approved care instructions for rinsing away fresh soap residue where appropriate. Avoid directing water into joints or areas that should not be saturated. Do not add a daily protective spray unless it has been confirmed as suitable for the existing coating.

Use a clean drying tool

Where permitted, remove remaining water with a suitable squeegee or clean cloth. Check the blade or cloth for grit and hardened residue first. Work without forcing the tool against fittings or damaged edges. Keep the tool clean and store it where it can dry properly.

Keep periodic cleaning

Daily water removal does not replace cleaning when film or deposits develop. Inspect the glass dry and use the agreed cleaner at a frequency suited to actual use. If one area repeatedly remains marked, record its location and the cleaning method rather than scrubbing harder each day.
