Handover Coated Shower Glass to a Housekeeping Team

Provide a concise product-specific care handoff and a clear route for uncertain cleaning questions.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

The housekeeping team needs to know how to care for the exact treatment installed on shower glass. A handover that reaches only the property manager may never reach the people doing the cleaning. Plan the information transfer as part of the coating project.

Identify the treated enclosures

Provide room or enclosure references and the installed product. Explain any excluded areas or different treatments. Keep current instructions accessible to supervisors and staff rather than relying on a verbal explanation given during installation.

Translate guidance into the working routine

Use product-approved care information to describe the relevant tasks. Clarify which existing cleaning practices need review and who can approve a change. For example, staff should not increase concentration or introduce an unfamiliar product simply because a task became more difficult. Uncertainty should have a clear support route.

Confirm understanding and maintain continuity

Brief the team and invite practical questions about access, tools and daily work. Record observations during the first maintenance cycle and review any mismatch between the instructions and actual practice. Update new or temporary staff through the same process. The handover succeeds when the team can identify the treatment, follow the appropriate routine and report a concern usefully, not merely when a document has been attached to the project's final invoice.

Give housekeeping a product-specific work card

Identify the treated glass, product, approved cleaning guidance, tools and support route. Separate the glass instructions from those for seals, metal fittings, stone and other adjacent materials. Make it clear which surfaces were not part of the treatment.

Demonstrate the routine with the team and ask a staff member to explain it back. Record any cleaner substitution before it becomes normal practice. If a room is handed to a new contractor, include the card in that handover. The goal is a repeatable care process that fits daily work, not an instruction to stop cleaning because the glass is coated or an assumption that one bathroom cleaner suits every surface.
