A new vehicle is not automatically a ready-to-coat specimen.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
A new vehicle is not automatically a ready-to-coat specimen. The installer should assess the actual finish and follow the selected graphene coating’s preparation requirements rather than relying on the vehicle’s age.
Record visible condition and any known prior treatment. Determine what preparation is appropriate for the surface and product. Do not sell unnecessary correction simply because coating is planned, but do not skip required cleaning or inspection because the car is new.
Separate assessment, preparation and coating in the customer explanation. If the graphene name is part of the product choice, explain that it describes an additive-containing formula rather than a guarantee against all future damage. Give the customer the current care guidance and a realistic description of the coating’s role.
The best recommendation begins with the vehicle in front of the installer. A new-car label and a graphene label are both incomplete descriptions; the actual finish, formula and process determine the job.
