A car cover introduces its own contact and handling conditions.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
A car cover introduces its own contact and handling conditions. The presence of a graphene coating does not automatically make every cover or covering practice suitable for the vehicle.
Follow the coating’s cure and care instructions and the cover manufacturer’s guidance. Consider the surface condition before covering and how the cover will be fitted and removed. Do not assume that a slick-feeling coating eliminates every possibility of contact-related marking.
A coating’s demonstrated resistance to a specific test does not establish compatibility with every fabric, contamination condition or movement pattern. If a customer intends to use a cover regularly, include that information in the product recommendation and maintenance discussion. Where the combination is uncertain, seek the relevant product guidance.
The correct decision concerns the coated vehicle and the cover together. Graphene can identify the coating family, but it does not replace the practical instructions needed to protect the finish during storage and handling.
